The kickoff of something special. Shorter days, longer nights.
So many little things that signify a changing of seasons. It’s easy to let the earlier sunsets, coupled with colder temperatures, affect your outlook. On the other hand, I love it as it signifies my favorite time of year. Leaves changing, college football, Halloween, Hocus Pocus; all things I love. The fall holiday season, with the build-up to Christmas, is something that warms my soul.
The longer nights sitting around a campfire with great friends is hard to beat. The spirit of being close to the ones you love, the ones who support everything you do, is unique to this time of year. With it comes a renewed soul that is ready to tackle the year ahead.
As this fall season comes upon us, let’s not forget to find ways to count our blessings. It’s the only time of year we get to slow down, take a deep breath, and reflect on the little blessings that this life brings. Every day is filled with these that are unique to only you. It’s important to take a few moments every day to recognize all that this life brings and give proper thanks to the ones who made it possible.
I always start with God and Family. These are the most important things in my life. I encourage all of our team members at Hometown to do the same.
Doing what you love with the ones you love is special. We hope you find yours.
