Michelle "Shelli" McNeil

As our Property Manager, you can find Michelle “Shelli” McNeil at our Starkville office. Shelli is the mother of two lovely daughters, Taylor (29) and Ripley (14) and the grandmother Zoe (10) and Elliot (5). Her favorite food is a well-cooked Italian meal including ravioli, lasagna, or risotto! Some of her hobbies include attending all sporting events for Mississippi State. She also enjoys participating in formal running races, so she can collect medals and cool tee shirts!

Shelli joins the Hometown team as our Property Manager. She chose a career in property management because she loves being able to help people. According to Shelli, “A fundamental part to family happiness is having a great place to live” and she wants to provide that to all her clients. While there is a business side to property management that she enjoys, it’s the ability to directly impact people positively that keeps her motivated. Another great part of the business is that no two days are the same.

“This is my passion and I’m always excited to overcome each challenge to create great solutions for everyone! Not everyone can say it but I make a difference in our community each and every day!” says Shelli.

She has been involved in the property management industry for almost 9 years including three years in South Florida and the rest here in Mississippi. One piece of advice Shelli gives to anyone considering becoming a property manager, “Buckle up, it can be a wild ride! Also, take your vacations and keep yourself sane! The only consistent thing is change in this business so take each opportunity to decompress around each turnover.”

One last interesting fact is that she is an avid college football fan with a bucket list to attend a game at every SEC stadium. She loves to travel and attend New Kids on the Block concerts when they are on tour.
